The problem
General chat assistants lose track of what happened three chapters ago. Long-form writing needs a system that understands how characters, places and events connect across hundreds of pages.
What we built
A GraphRAG knowledge system in which LangGraph coordinates separate indexing, retrieval and generation agents. Semantic search uses SentenceTransformers and ChromaDB, while FastAPI, Celery and Redis handle parallel work and background indexing, with MongoDB behind the application.
